This is a nice vehicle smaller than the HSE. Here’s a sneak peek

Smart Car Body Kits

Smart Cars are out there. Today I saw one on the highway, it looked tiny.

I thought it would be great if there were some mods. Introducing the Smart Car Body Kits.

Before:

Maserati Granturismo

Autobash’s first Maserati.  The  is in a class by itself. The poor man’s Ferrari ? I don’t think so. This vehicle starts at $75,000, but it’s worth every penny.

Audi R8

Wow when I saw this car I was in shock. The car is perfect. At a starting price of around 100k I don’t think I’ll be owning one of these bad boys any time soon. Here a pic.

2009 Nissan Maxima

I visited the Nissan Dealership this weekend and I was immediately in love. The 2009 Nissan Maxima kicks ass. This vehicle has nice chrome accents. It now pushes 295 horse power. The model I saw looked to have all the options , it was a Maxima SV. The inside looked less sporty and more luxury and comfortable.  The car was priced at 35k with an additional 7k markup if you wanted it now.  It’s guaranteed to turn some heads on the highway.

VW Micro Car 282 MPG

Wow. VolksWagen is ahead of the curve by a few laps on this one. They’ve developed a vehicle that kiss gas prices in the arse.

“Volkswagen’s had its super-thrifty One-Liter Car concept vehicle — so named because that’s how much fuel it needs to go 100 kilometers — stashed away for six years. The body’s made of carbon fiber to minimize weight (the entire car weighs just 660 pounds) and company execs didn’t expect the material to become cheap enough to produce the car until 2012. ”

Honda FCX Clarity

Talk about going green. It doesn’t get any greener than this.

The Honda FCX Clarity runs on hydrogen and electricity, emits only water and none of the noxious fumes believed to induce global warming. This is what the world needs. Not perfect but a much more environmentally friendly vehicle.

California will be the first to see these. The Honda FCX Clarity will run you around $600/month (3 yr leased) .

Toyota Hybrid X

If you’re a hypermiler you will appreciate this car.  What’s a hypermiler ? With the gas prices souring a new breed of people have developed. Hypermilers, how many miles can you get on a gallon? Hypermiler can get 100mpg on a suggested 60mpg vehicle. How is this done? Parking with the nose out. Enjoying cliffs (let it roll), driving within the speed limit, turn the car off if you are going to idle more that 20 secs.

Anyway back to the Toyota Hybrid X.

The Hybrid X rewrites the design rule book for hybrid models with unconventional creative solutions that could become the norm for future hybrid designs.
